My Philosophy

Restorative, Science-Back Sleep Support

I believe every family deserves a sleep strategy that is as nurturing as it is evidence-based. Because every child is a unique individual, I reject "one-size-fits-all" methods. Instead, I walk beside you to restore confidence, understanding, and calm to your home through education and a nurturing plan you can actually trust.

A Philosophy Rooted in Science

My approach is built on the reality that baby and toddler sleep is a biological and neurological process—not a behavior to be "trained." While I don't offer "quick fixes" that ignore a child's needs, I do offer holistic, science-backed tools tailored to your child’s:

  • Unique Temperament: Honoring who they are.

  • Developmental Milestones: Understanding the "why" behind the wake-ups.

  • Sensory & Nutritional Needs: Looking at the whole picture.

Responsive, Respectful, and Real

We focus on sleep rhythms, environment, and the power of co-regulation. My methods prioritize your child’s mental health and secure attachment, ensuring you never have to choose between a good night’s sleep and a strong bond.

Supporting the Whole Family

Your wellbeing is the heartbeat of your home. My training extends to parental emotional health and nervous system regulation, because a supported parent is the best tool for a sleeping child. Together, we will optimize sleep in a way that feels sustainable, respectful, and deeply restorative for everyone.

the three pillars of my approach

responsive nurture

Responsive caregiving is essential for the emotional, psychological and physical development of babies and children. Responding to infants offers them co-regulation which buffers stress and allows their rapidly growing brains to wire for resilience and wellbeing.

biologically normal

There is diversity in babies sleep needs and temperament. A biologically normal approach to infant sleep recognizes that babies sleep with their own unique sleep architecture, night waking is appropriate and it's perfectly healthy for you baby to need proximity. There are ways to support biologically normal sleep, which is an evidence-based way to optimize the many crucial processes happening during sleep such as growth, repair, memory consolidation and learning.

attachment & security

A secure attachment relationship is supportive of lifelong emotional, physical and mental health. My approach supports family connections, nap and nighttime parenting strategies that offer security, presence, attunement and are developmentally appropriate.

Sleep Consulting For -

I had the pleasure of working with Sari for a sleep consultation. My son is 8 months old...I wasn’t sure what more I could try when it came to his false starts - he had been waking after a single sleep cycle for pretty much his entire life.

After working with Sari and incorporating her tips, his false starts have stopped. It took about two weeks, and I was honestly shocked because I truly thought we had tried everything. Her approach is warm, flexible, and deeply nurturing.
