1:1 Baby or Toddler Sleep Consult

Service Description

This is for the parents who could use some guidance with a specific baby and toddler sleep issue. During this consultation, I’ll offer you guidance on troubleshooting the sleep concern you need support with and within 48 hrs. of the consult you'll receive a tailored, nurturing sleep plan. For a week I provide ongoing support on our WhatsApp chat. Working with your baby's development and biology may take time (no quick fixes promised) but you'll leave this session with knowledge, validation and strategies that protect your baby's developing brain and support your own wellbeing + rest...and you might also be surprised how effective some small changes are for baby's sleep! These 60-minute sessions are often used to: - Learn more about normal, biological infant sleep, the neurobiology of nighttime parenting and how this impacts development and attachment. - Screen for any red flags that may be impacting sleep and get to root causes, including referrals if needed. - Find tailored, science-backed tools to optimize rest for your unique scenario. - Review safe sleep set ups. - Checking if nightly wakings are normal, troubleshooting false starts and other nighttime sleep concerns. - Prepare for any transitions such as night-weaning, nap drops, moving sleep locations (e.g. bed to cot), introducing a new baby etc. Our time together is also intended to nurture and fill your own cup. I offer education on parental nervous system regulation. Within a container of respect and warmth, we collaborate on building a plan that suits your families need and affirming your mothering/parenting instincts and intuition. Upon booking you receive a fairly detailed intake form; this lets me get a really good picture of your baby and your family's needs. Don't worry if you're too tired to answer in detail.
