Service Description
Care that comes to you in the weeks after birth The weeks after birth are a time to rest and recover, not to travel to appointments. This home visit brings a comprehensive herbal consult to you, along with warm care to support your recovery. We’ll talk through how you’re healing, sleeping, feeding and feeling. I’ll then make you a herbal formula and a postpartum tea blend for your recovery. Many traditions around the world use warmth to aid healing after birth, and I’ll draw on this with a warming herbal footbath and a moxibustion treatment while you rest. What’s included: Initial postpartum herbal consult in your home Individual herbal formula Postpartum herbal tea blend Warming herbal footbath Moxibustion treatment Written plan sent afterwards Referral to your midwife, GP or other practitioners where needed Includes one 100 mL formula and one 100g tea blend. Where I travel Home visits are available in Bellingen and surrounds. For homes more than a 15-minute drive from Bellingen, travel is charged at $1 per km. This is a wonderful option to buy as a gift for someone you love
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know at least 24 hours beforehand, and I’ll happily move your appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice incur 50% of the consult fee, and missed appointments are charged in full. Any herbs already prepared for you will still be charged. I understand that life with illness, pregnancy and small children doesn’t always go to plan. If something urgent comes up, please get in touch, and we’ll work it out.
